What we collect
We collect the name, email address, telephone number, postcode, material preference, kitchen layout, budget, timing and project notes you submit. Please do not include payment details or sensitive personal information in your notes. We also record the contact agreement, enquiry reference and submission time.
A daily, salted hash derived from your network address helps limit repeated submissions. The original network address is not stored in the enquiry database. A site-specific account identifier links signed-in users to their own requests.
Why we use your information
We use your details to respond to your worktop enquiry, discuss your requirements, check service availability and prepare a quote where the project can be served. We rely on your consent for contact about this request. We rely on legitimate interests to protect the form from abuse, administer enquiries and secure our systems. No marketing subscription is created by this form.
Who can access your enquiry
Your enquiry is handled by the business operating Quartz Worktop Quote, identified above, and its authorised staff. Access is limited to people who need the information to administer and respond to your request.
When email delivery is active, our email service processes the details needed to send an internal notification and your acknowledgement. Hosting is provided through the Sites platform on Cloudflare infrastructure, and transactional email is prepared for Resend. Service providers may process data outside the UK; contact us for information about the applicable locations and transfer safeguards.
How long information is kept
Inactive enquiries are marked for review after 90 days. The operator should delete information that is no longer needed, or document why an active project, complaint or legal obligation requires longer retention. The enquiry inbox includes a permanent deletion facility for authorised administrators. Contact us if you want your enquiry reviewed or removed.
Your choices and rights
You can withdraw your consent to future contact at any time by emailing us with your enquiry reference. You can also ask to access, correct or erase your information, restrict processing, object where applicable, or obtain a portable copy where the right applies. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that has already taken place lawfully. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies and analytics
The site does not install advertising tags or analytics cookies. Essential hosting or authentication cookies may be used where needed. Advertising or analytics tools will require a separate setup and an updated notice before activation.
